This downsized, lightweight cord stopper is specified as Kensin (needle detection has been conducted to ensure it is safe from broken needles).
It meets the NC-A needle detection standard, which is a needle detection level equal to or under a 0.8mm steel ball, using a conveyor-type of needle detector.
This cord stopper can also be dyed to match, and it can be dry-cleaned. YKK’s injection molded products are made from POM (Polyoxymethylene), and they provide excellent chemical resistance and/or corrosion resistance compared to the typical fastener fabricated from metal. The stainless steel spring used is highly durable, and does not break easily like plastic springs used on other cordloc cord stoppers.
