Made from cutting-edge UHMWPE, the UKOM MandoCore HO3 is an exceptionally lightweight, Home Office CAST-approved Level 3 stand-alone ballistic plate, rated for both rifle and shotgun threats. Additionally, the MandoCore plate is tested to withstand Federal Tactical Bonded 5.56x45mm LE223T3 rounds—specialized law enforcement ammunition engineered for high accuracy and reliable terminal performance through barriers with minimal deviation.

Designed with operator comfort in mind, this plate is drop-safe, positively buoyant, multi-curved, and padded to ensure all-day wearability without compromising protection.

The UK HO3 standard is comparable to the US NIJ Level 3 (RF1), but it imposes stricter limits on blunt force trauma—allowing a mean back-face deformation of ≤ 25 mm and a maximum of 30 mm, compared to the NIJ’s maximum of 44 mm—and requires a higher number of test rounds of 10 rounds, compared to the NIJ's 6 rounds.
