UKOM MandoCore SF-A High Cut Ballistic Helmet

Made from a combat proven, proprietary thermoplastic aramid composite shell, the UKOM MandoCore SF-A High Cut Ballistic Helmet is the latest lineup to UKOM’s ballistic protection range. Built for mission versatility, the helmet features a universal NVG mount and Picatinny® rails, delivering a secure, ready-to-deploy platform for lights, cameras, and tactical gear.

Ballistic protection:

Fragmentation protection:

• US milspec 2, 4, 16, 64, 17 grain fragments.
• V50 1480 fps (450m/sec) to V50 2300 fps (700m/sec) according to STANAG 2920 (17gr FSP) and US MIL STD 662F

With high cut helmets, it is generally advised to go one size up from your full cut helmet size, especially if you are between sizes. 

Padding:

This helmet comes equipped with the 4D Tactical pad system - recognized across military and law enforcement communities as one of the highest-performance padding solutions available. Each pad is constructed from soft memory foam, offering superior energy absorption and pressure distribution compared to conventional helmet pads.

The outer fabric is stitched, not glued, ensuring long-term durability under high-wear conditions. The system is designed to minimize pressure points, especially critical during extended wear and under increased headborne loadouts such as night vision devices, counterweights, and integrated communications systems.

While the pads may temporarily firm up in cold environments, body heat rapidly restores pliability, maintaining comfort and providing mild thermal insulation in cold-weather operations.

Harness:

This helmet comes standard with the BOA® 4-point adjustable dial harness, allowing for quick, one-handed adjustments to ensure even tension and a secure fit. The system maintains stability even under the added weight of headborne accessories such as night vision devices, counterweights, or ear protection systems. The suede lined chinstrap is fully removable, allowing for easy laundering, replacement, or integration with respirator extenders.
