The Silva Ranger 360 Global is a sturdy, reliable compass which is perfect for regular users such as walkers, mountaineers, backpackers and travellers. The global needle means you can use the compass throughout the globe without a worry. 

Included with the compass is a slope card and distance lanyard, these allow you to detect avalanche risks, determine how strenuous your journey will be and to plan your distance and time. Printed on the distance lanyard are two scales to correspond with your chosen map, 1:25k and 1:50k. Being made of rubber, it's soft, flexible and perfect for placing onto your map when out and about. 

Other features include a DryFlex grip for easy handling, sticky rubber feet to grip to a map or other hard surface, a declination scale inside the capsule, a magnifying lens, a base plate map which measures in mm, scales which measure in 1:25k and 1:50k, a curved shape to fit better in the hand, red/black northsouth lines for easy and safe settling, luminous markings for low light use and hot stamped graphics to deal with years of general abuse. Just to top it off, the needle is made from the finest Swedish steel and build with a quality that is second to none.
