Aku have used their knowledge, experience and expertise in the outdoor market to produce a military boot designed for hot dry condition that is light in weight, durable, and responsive.
As the name suggests, this multi-terrain Aku military boot was developed in conjunction with the US Navy Seals.
Features include a high breathability Air8000 upper to maintain a comfortable temperature, a Sanifit lining that wicks moisture, a Vibram Swot outsole providing great grip, flat sole area on the toe for additional friction and a tough Bycast Rand that offers added protection on rocky terrain. Note - These boots are not waterproof above the rand line and do not have a Gore-Tex liner as the design team felt that Gore-Tex would affect the breathability and flexibility of the boot which would compromise the specification they were given.
