Hand Warmer Individual

Instructions

1. Press the catch on the front of the warmer to open.
2. Remove the foil wrapping from the fuel stick. Light one end of the fuel stick with a match or lighter. Gently blow on it and allow to burn down by about 1.2cm
3. Holding the fuel stick at the its unlit end, place the lighted fuel stick in the warmer case and close the lid-ensuring that the spring clip has fully closed the two parts of the warmer.
4. To intensify the heat output, the fuel stick may be lit at both ends but this will nearly halve the burning time.
5. Stretch the provided elastic band around the warmer as extra security against it opening unintentionally.
6. When not in use the lighted fuel stick inside should be taken and extinguished. If you must open the warmer when hot for this purpose, exercise extreme care and so only on a level fireproof surface.

Cautions

-       The hand warmer is not a toy and can become very hot in use.

-       For adults use only. Not suitable for use by children.

-       To avoid unintentional combustion, do not place the warmer or fuel stick near flammable materials.

-       Do not use hand warmer in bed or in a sleeping bag.

-       Open warmer only when outside is cooled (if the outer surface is warm this indicates that the fuel rod may still be lit) and exercise extreme caution.

-       Open the warmer only in a horizontal position to prevent any hot ashes falling out.

-       The lighted fuel stick reaches a very high temperature and must not be handled.

-       Do not eat.
