Kong Kasc Anti-Shock Cone
KASC is a kit conceived to improve safety on "Via ferrata". It is made of thermoplastic rubber and withstanding extreme temperatures (-40° +90°).
In case of fall KASC absorbs the impact on fix bolt and helps the connector to position itself along the right load bearing line, reducing lateral/torsional forces.
Easy to install by screwing the two bolts-nuts supplied (warning: don't tie too much!).
The four flexible inner fins keep KASC in position on cables/chains up to 30mm Ø. It can be glued.
On request there is room (35x25 mm) for an advertising or a sponsorship.
Kong Kasc Anti-Shock Cone
The Kong KASC Anti-Shock Cone is a high-performance safety component designed specifically for Via Ferrata applications. The cone features four flexible internal fins, allowing a secure fit on cables and chains up to 30mm in diameter. It installs easily with the included bolts and nuts—just screw them in (do not overtighten). The KASC can also be glued for additional stability.
For commercial or promotional use, the cone includes a customizable area (35x25 mm) for branding, advertising, or sponsorship placement upon request.
