MWC G10 Hand Winding 24 Jewel (100m Water Resistant) General Service Military Watch
This watch is the hand wound variant of our popular G10 automatic models and is supplied with two matching straps one in grey and one in black. Originally we had only made G10 / General Service watches in quartz but in 2007 we started to produce mechanical versions following requests from both retired and serving military personnel who preferred this option to the standard quartz models. Following the huge popularity of the earlier 50m models we started to produce the first hand winding G10’s in 2009 and this is the current improved and updated version of that model. We only make very limited quantities of this watch from time to time.

This MWC G10 hand wound watch is the ultimate mix of both traditional and contemporary watchmaking technology. The 24 jewel mechanical movement has a 41 hour power reserve which is longer than most other hand wound watches which are usually able to run for only 30 to 36 hours. The watch has overwind protection preventing the risk of overwinding but 50/55 turns of the crown each day is sufficient to get get the spring to its maximum capacity. The watch also has overwind protection which prevents the watch being overwound.
The G10 hand wound model like other MWC G10 100m and 300m watches has a heavy stainless steel case, screw down crown and screw caseback, it is robust and tough and built to endure the most extreme of conditions, features include sandblasted non-reflective stainless steel case, sweep second hand, hacking function, black dial with luminous markings and military specification screw in strap bars.
