The Panama Classic Lite Mk 2 Jungle Boots uses Altberg's new lightweight, shock absorbing jungle sole, which combines the classic field-tested jungle tread outsole with a shock absorbing lightweight midsole.

Altberg Jungle Boots features the tried-and-true Panama tread outsole, combined with a shock absorbing lightweight midsole. Constructed from durable MOD Brown leather and Cordura, fully compatible with MTP/MultiCam uniforms. Engineered with non-metallic underfoot spike resistance for reliable protection without the weight and rust of metallic alternatives. Designed for demanding jungle and wet-weather deployments where durability, drainage, and traction are critical.

Under foot protection is provided by a stab proof specially woven material, which is laminated to a moulded polypropelene midsole to give excellent flex and torsional control under the foot, as well as protection.

The new stab proof midsole has a penetration resistance equal to or better than many of the more conventional steel midsoles used in 'old style' jungle boots, it also has the advantage that it will not rust or degrade with use. The new footbed has a mesh cover which has zero moisture retention.

SIZE & FITTING ADVICE:

For medium feet we suggest that you go up ½ a size on your shoe size - this works ok in 80% of cases and allows for a thicker sock to be used with the boots.
