Terra Nova Equipment Ltd is based in Derbyshire, England. The company was formed in 1993 f
ollowing the demerger of Wild Country Ltd, when Wild Country’s tent division and its extremities accessories business became Terra Nova Equipment Ltd.
Terra Nova has continued the commitment to innovation and quality established by Wild Country Ltd. Their aim in whatever they do is to be ‘Best in Class’ and have developed an enviable reputation worldwide for the reliability and technical expertise of our award winning designs. Their heritage is in mountain tents which are still a regular sight on Everest and at the North and South Poles, where they faced some of the most demanding conditions.
The new millennium saw development shift to lightweight tents. Terra Nova launched the first one man tent under 1kg with a Guinness World Record in 2004 to mark the achievement. Terra Nova have won several different awards for a large range of their products over the past few years including Terra Nova lightweight tents are now an equally familiar sight at mountain marathons.
